Birthdays
We are all turning 24 in a few days and we felt too old already. We don't want to grow old! So what is the best place to celebrate it like five year old kids? Disneyland.
We wanted to take a trip down memory lane and we all agreed that hong kong is a great idea. Here are the instagram collections of photos from our trip.

Instant
There are a lot of things we love about traveling. We find exciting attractions, trying out local delicacies, socializing with different culture, learning their language and meeting new people!
Its my first time to travel without my friends beside me and I have to say that traveling alone is not that bad after all. Meeting locals that share my interests were the best part of this trip. We clicked the moment we handshake. Just like the photos above. It was Instant.

Cintai
My family decided to go out of town last month and we all agreed to go to batangas because that's the farthest I can drive (friend trips are a different story) My lola discovered this place on television called "Cintai by Corritos Garden" I am not surprised that she did, because she never really go out and away from her room and television. It was featured in one of her favorite shows and she suggested it to us right after she saw it.
Cintai is an indonesian word for love. I heard that they built this place for the memories of their mother. The place was huge. It has 2 pavilions that caters events and 18 huge villas. We checked in at their executive villa because it is away from other villas, we wanted a peaceful stay, and it has a private Jacuzzi with a bar. Staying at their other villas isn't an issue at all. Especially with their place that is not yet commercialize, crowd is not going to be a problem. The owners are accommodating, they will give you personal butlers to send your meal at your villa if you requested. The executive room is nice. Its quite expensive but all worth it. I loved their bathroom and the aroma scent they used in the room. I actually searched for the scent in the mall when we got home.
We strolled around the whole garden and I was impressed by the architecture and sculpture around. Most of their walls are engraved and carved perfectly plus there are animals roaming around. I seriously thought I was in thailand/indonesia for a second! I really felt the culture.
I wish I could post everything up here but I think its better if you see it for yourself. Go check their site here www.coritosgarden.com

Red Socks Pugie
You are absolutely right. Red Socks Pugie is a song by Foals. If you don't know Foals and you love english indie rock music then you have to listen to them. They're amazing. This band is one of those artists that you probably hear when you walk inside any Topman store around the world. Foals never miss to be a part of their store playlists, and I think that's a good thing.
I uploaded a new look on lookbook and I have to say that this is my favorite so far. It's the type of look that I am most comfortable with. A simple long plaid shirt (Topman), a carrot khaki pants (Topman) and my infamous "mcby" boots (Topman). Yes. My boots has a name and it was named after me.
I got my boots as a gift from my aunt in london. I was glad to see that she got me a perfect pair of boots but not surprise at all that she got me the best one. I always knew that she has a good taste when it comes to fashion. Part of my-sense-of-style I learned from her.

Ready To Start
I am a sucker for suits. Most of my suits are tailor-made suits or I call everyday-suit. I always have a hard time looking for a great casual suit that will fit my physique so I stick with custom made ones. I look for fabrics that are very cheap in price but at the same time has a classy quality on it and it's up to my tailor to give it a polished look. He never fails to create me a great suit that helps me look sharp and chic.

360
Today marks the beginning of many things for me. I always thought of not making it but I look at myself now and I'm finally done with school.
Going on to this course has always been an issue. Ditching my graduation has always been an issue too. I always tell them that I am an undercover nursing student and that I am not attending my graduation because of it is just an undercover. It is always easy that way than making people understand the real reason why.
I've been to three schools, four and a half batch and numbers of tutorials. I was able to see some sides of different people, mentally, physically and financially. Each one of them dreamed to walk on that stage and to graduate. Obviously, it is not my dream. Dream for me is something that you want to achieve and to settle with. Yes, I finished school and this is an achievement and that I am proud of. No, there's no way I will settle on this one so I will still keep on pushing through and I won't end it by just walking on to that stage.
People tells me that it is being selfish. Graduation is one of the greatest gift a parent could have. I agreed. It is one of the many gifts we could give our parents but I am giving it up. I only gave up one gift, there are still a lot of them left. That gives me another motivation to work harder and make them more proud.
I am not trying to prove something here. I am pretty sure people would think that way. Everytime I make a decision people always thought that I am trying to prove something. Thats how my mind works and I am just being myself. This is just a thought of mine. Don't Judge.

Blue Lagoon
Semestral break is one of the best season to go to the beach. This year, me and my friends all agreed to go all the way up to ilocos province. It is located at the northwest corner of luzon. It is known as the northern tourist destination. They have couple of popular beaches and blue lagoon is one of them.
Blue Lagoon beach is literally the one you see in the corner of the map. It is such a paradise. Every time I see a map I always point my finger at it, brag and tell someone that "I already stood there" It was such a great feeling to actually stood at that edge of our country.
We stayed in this place called Kapuluan Vista Resort. The place was originally made for surfers because it was build right in front of the surfers area. There are rocks everywhere and high waves but its not really a an issue because the blue lagoon beach is just a walking distance from the resort. It will just take you 10 minutes walk to get there.
Although It is far from the blue lagoon beach, I think that kapuluan vista resort is still the best place to stay around the area because it is the only resort that is secluded from other resorts and from the crowd. Its perfect for the people who is looking for a peaceful getaway.

22
Today, I turned 22 and independent. My family moved this year to the states to start a new life while I have to be stuck here for college. I am having a hard time adjusting but I'm pretty sure that I will be able to acclimate myself with the changes around.
On the day of my birthday I gave myself the most painful gift ever. A tattoo. I always wanted to get inked ever since I sense my passion for art. Tattoo is an art and an expression of individuality so I think having one is a great step for me.
I decided to have James dean face on my right sleeve. It is not a surprise to anyone that I am a huge fan of James Dean so nobody stop me for having a permanent mark of his face on my skin. Like what I have said on my previous blog, His life and style is a constant inspiration to me.

Lights, Camera, Action
Photography is starting to be my adulthood hobby. I had done some amateur shots and you can see it here on my flickr account. I took photography lessons from a friend who is a professional photographer. Unfortunately, i wasn't able to meet him every Friday and learn all his lessons because of my tight schedule in school. I just learned the basics, the overview about photography, rule of three, apertures, flashes and lights, manual shooting, selective shots and i think that's all.
There is a studio two blocks away from my home which is just perfect to do some test shots. Here are some photos of the studio and it looks like it's going to be my bat cave this year.
